As a Physiotherapist, I can look after you too as I understand that everyday activities of work and life can cause muscular stress.

Remedial massage benefits EVERYONE, not just athletes. It targets deep tissue and effectively treats chronic pain, strains, sprains and musculoskeletal injury. Specific techniques can aid healing and speed up recovery, getting you back into action as quickly as possible.

However...

if you are a horse owner, you may have sustained a fall or suffer with back pain from an ill-fitting saddle. You may even have a non-horse related injury! It is important as a rider to be aware that any muscular imbalance in your body can cause postural compensations and an altered seat position; this will likely cause your horse to become imbalanced too.

Or...

if you are a dog owner who participates in agility or showing, you too need to be in peak condition! I can give advice on appropriate warm up and cool down exercises to help prevent injury.

Examples of common conditions:

  • neck, shoulder, back pain

  • arthritis

  • whiplash

  • frozen shoulder

  • rotator cuff injuries

  • tennis elbow

  • carpal tunnel syndrome

  • RSI (repetitive strain injury)

  • sciatica

  • plantar fasciitis

  • scar tissue/adhesions

Treatment is always tailored to your individual needs and requirements. You may be given advice on exercises and stretches to carry out between sessions to maximise the benefits of massage therapy and restore optimal function, mobility and strength.

Relaxation massage is exactly that - relaxing! Treat yourself to a pamper session to de-stress and indulge in some TLC. Stroking, effluerage, kneading and gentle manipulations of the muscles are applied at your chosen rhythm and pressure. It is a pain-free way to relax your body and mind.
