Self Care For You is Important Too

Remedial massage benefits EVERYONE, not just athletes. It targets deep tissue and effectively treats chronic pain, strains, sprains and musculoskeletal injury.

Specific techniques can aid healing and speed up recovery, getting you back into action as quickly as possible.

Relaxation massage is exactly that - relaxing! Treat yourself to a pamper session to de-stress and indulge in some TLC.

Stroking, effleurage, kneading and gentle manipulations of the muscles are applied at your chosen rhythm and pressure. It is a pain-free way to relax your body and mind.

If you have horses, it is important as a rider to be aware that any muscular imbalance in your body can cause postural compensations and an altered seat position; this will likely cause your horse to become imbalanced too.

If you have dogs, and participate in agility or showing, you too need to be in peak condition! I can give advice on appropriate warm up and cool down exercises to help prevent injury.

Or you may have a dog that likes to pull on the lead, in which case you may feel discomfort in your neck, shoulders and back.

Treatment is always tailored to your individual needs and requirements. You may be given advice on exercises and stretches to carry out between sessions to maximise the benefits of massage therapy and restore optimal function, mobility and strength.

I am currently training with Myofascial Release UK and expect to be a certified MFR THERAPIST in 2024.
