Pre and post-event massage
£TBC via consultation
Pre-event massage aims to physically and psychologically prepare your horse or dog for competition, enhance performance and minimise the risk of injury.

Post-event massage aims to assist with your horse's or dog's recuperation; promoting drainage of lactic acid, reducing stiffness and preventing the incidence of delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).

The Veterinary Act (1966) states it is illegal for any person, other than the owner of the animal, to treat an animal unless the permission of the animals Veterinary Surgeon is sought and obtained. Therefore to protect your horse's or dog's welfare veterinary consent (written or verbal) must be gained prior to massage therapy.

If any circumstance should arise that is deemed outside of professional remit, HAC Therapies will duly refer your horse or dog back to your vet for further assessment.
